Book Review: THE FRIEND ZONE (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) by @authorabbyjimenez
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Boy meets Girl. Girl is smart and sexy and witty as hell. And so is Boy. So what’s the problem, you ask? Girl has a Marine boyfriend who she’s planning to move in with as soon as his last tour is over, banishing Boy to (dun dun dun) The Friend Zone. Sad face. Are things serious with the Marine? Or, should Boy stick it out and see what happens?

The Friend Zone started out as a very fun rom-com, and I was thoroughly enchanted by both the boy, Josh, and the girl, Kristen. They enjoyed each other’s company soooo much, so why couldn’t they see that they belonged together? Well, poor Josh definitely saw it but Kristen wasn’t having it… but why? What else was going on? Well, I soon found out when this fun story took a serious turn and became SO MUCH MORE than I was expecting. If you also love romances that feel real and raw and funny and serious (just like real life), then this is a MUST READ! I am left missing both Josh and Kristen and can’t wait for the sequel, The Happy Ever After Playlist, releasing in April so I can spend more time with them but from the perspective of Kristen’s best friend, Sloan. Is April here yet?
