Genre: Contemporary Romance

Worried that she’s outgrown her role in the local Renaissance Faire, Stacey is itching for change… but never in a million years did she imagine that an email exchange with Dex, her friend with benefits, would be the catalyst! Ironically, when Dex’s cousin, Daniel, notices Stacy’s new dragonfly necklace, he comments: “In a lot of cultures the dragonfly symbolizes change.” Could it be a hint of things to come?

After enjoying the flirty story and fun characters in Well Met (4 stars) by this author, I hoped for a sequel and was so excited when I heard it would be a series! Just like the first one, Well Played was in turn, romantic, flirty, and yes, steamy. I loved the epistolary exchanges and the updates about Emily and Simon. Lastly, after reading the excerpt of Well Matched, in the series, I am super excited for its release in Fall 2021 when we’ll finally get April’s story!
