It is a year after the action of One of Us is Lying, and someone has started a game of truth or dare. This game is lethal, it is no ordinary truth or dare. Choosing the truth may reveal your darkest secrets, accepting the dare could be dangerous, or even deadly. The teenagers of Bayview most once again work together to find the culprit, before it’s too late.
I read the first book in this series about 2 years ago. I really enjoyed it and I was really looking forward to reading the sequel. I did enjoy it, just not as much as the first. To be honest, I felt it was way too similar to the first book. At times I felt like I was reading the same book again. The characters felt overly similar to the first book, and the story wasn’t different enough for me to enjoy it as much as I had the first book. In saying that, I still enjoyed the book and it was a good story. It was one of those books that I read quickly and enjoyed but just wasn’t obsessed with. I’d still definitely recommend it, especially if you enjoyed the first book.
