My name is Amber Reynolds. There are three things you should know about me.
1. I’m in a coma
2. My husband doesn’t love me any more
3. Sometimes I lie
Wow this book 100% lived up to my expectations. I read His and Hers not long ago, and as my review showed I loved it. For me, the story of this was better. I enjoyed reading it and absolutely flew threw it. The story is told in the present, the week leading up to present events and the past. The past is told through a series of diary entries. I enjoyed the diaries the most and found them so engaging. Amber’s character was really engaging and I found myself not wanting to put the book down, especially as the story developed. There were many twists in this book. Some I was expecting, others I wasn’t. I enjoyed this as I hate predictability in a book. The only reason I’m not giving this 5 stars is because I found the ending so confusing. I may be just thick but I genuine couldn’t grasp what had happened. I actually had to read an explanation on Goodreads. Once I read that I was like yeah okay that makes sense but I would have liked to have understood it just from reading. I would definitely recommend this book, the story was so easy to read and fast paced. A really addictive read.
