In Midnight Sun, Stephenie Meyer transports us back to a world that has captivated millions of readers and brings us an epic novel about the profound pleasures and devastating consequences of immortal love.
Wow, Edward Cullen has a LOT of thoughts. Jesus his brain never takes a minute off 😂 this book is incredibly long, much longer than Twilight. If you’re a fan of the Twilight series you’ll definitely love this. I felt like I was back in 2008 when I first read the books! It’s so good to read something from Twilight again. It is a bit repetitive throughout- a lot of it is Edward going “nah I have to leave her” and then “actually I can stay” throughout and him changing his mind on whether he can stay or not. That’s pretty much the entire book is him changing his mind about whether he can be with Bella. But even with that, I think the whole return to Twilight and to their characters was so great that I didn’t care. I’ve always wanted to see more of Edward’s family, and I loved the book that came out a few years back with the history of all the characters in the book. So, I was pretty happy with this. It’s long but I didn’t care. I’d definitely recommend this to any fans of the series.
