Genre: Women’s Fiction

Just when Dannie was on the verge of having all of her dreams come true, she was whisked ahead five years in the future for one hour. Once she returned to her current time, she couldn’t help but wonder… should I be wanting something different from life? What happened during that hour, and how will it affect her future?

This was not your typical love story. Yes, there was romantic love but there was also the immense love and caring between childhood friends, Dannie and Bella. This story embraced and focused mostly on the power of friendship between two women who were more like sisters, and I found it refreshing and unique. So much of the ending packed a powerful punch (making me tear up several times), and it gave me a lot to think about.

After all, “all the preparedness in the world cannot stop the unexpected from happening.” Location: NYC

I received an advance copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
