to @signepike on the release of THE FORGOTTEN KINGDOM,
Genre: Historical Fiction
Set during the very beginnings of Christianity, The Forgotten Kingdom continues to spin the tale of Lailoken (otherwise known as Merlin) and his lesser known twin sister, Languoreth. Wary of the new religion, their family believes in a different God and the old ways of their ancestors. After the death of his father, Rhydderch has become King and Languoreth is his Queen!
“Togetherness was our bargain. Allegiance until the end.”
I was so excited that this sequel picked up right where The Lost Queen left off and was in equal turns, overjoyed and heartbroken to discover who survived the battle and who did not. Just like the first one, Kingdom was packed full of adventure, romance, heartbreak, hope, and a touch of magic. I was once again lost in the immersive story and setting and loved finding out more about this family and how the years and battles changed them. This series has definitely become an epic family saga, and I didn’t want it to end. Sadly, I am now left waiting three years until the conclusion. Sob.
